Family’s favourite man turns 55, refuses to admit it
Sources confirm he still checks if the gas is off twice and calls it ‘just being careful’.

PUNE: In news that surprised no one, Papa turned 55 today and celebrated by waking up at 5:30 am, as usual.
Family members report he spent the morning reading two newspapers, fixing a tap that was not broken and forwarding a good-morning message to four WhatsApp groups.
Over the past year Papa has learnt to use UPI, lost his reading glasses on top of his head eleven times, and never once missed asking whether we had eaten.
Celebrations are expected to end at 9:30 pm sharp. He has an early morning.

You taught me to ride a cycle, to do sums in my head and to always carry a hanky. You never say much about how you feel, but you show it every single day.
Happy birthday, Papa. Thank you for everything you never made a big deal of.
